NK Capital Partners is a firm primarily focused on making control investments in lower middle market businesses.  We specialize in businesses  that  are overlooked  by traditional private equity firms. Our investment strategy is centered upon partnering with management to grow  the  business  organically, or  through  acquisition.  NK’s principals,  and  investors,  leverage  their  experience  to  create  long  term  value  for businesses in many different sectors such as technology, manufacturing, distribution, and service some industries.


Ryan Tague - Partner

As a founder of NK Capital Partners, Ryan is the team lead on sourcing all investment opportunities, completing due diligence, structuring and negotiating transactions, and investor relations. Prior to founding, NK Capital Partners, Ryan helped rapidly grow a startup B2B marketing company which was eventually sold to a private equity firm. He spent over 10 years with the company, working directly with the CEO, focused on growth in variety of roles including sales & marketing, training, recruiting, and business operations. In addition to investing in business enterprises, Ryan is an avid real estate investor. Ryan earned a BA from University of Illinois. He currently lives, with his wife and three children, in the Lincoln Park neighborhood in Chicago, IL.  

 

 


Brad AuBuchon - Partner

As a partner at NK Capital Partners, Brad is the financial team lead, and heads up investor relations. He's also involved in sourcing investment opportunities, and structuring and negotiating transactions.  Prior to joining, NK Capital Partners, Brad founded a fixed income derivatives trading operation, which he was the managing partner for several years, and served on the pit committee at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Brad also invests in and manages a real estate portfolio. Brad earned a BS from University of Illinois.  He currently lives, with his wife and kids near Wrigley Field where he follows his beloved Cubs.
